Ice activities at Annual AERA Meeting

Ice supports international exchange in education research by offering diverse activities at the annual AERA meeting. Since 2013, ice has hosted speeches, exhibit booths and sessions in the context. The American Educational Research Association (AERA) is the largest national interdisciplinary research association dedicated to the scientific study of education and learning. AERA's more than 25,000 members are researchers, graduate students, and other distinguished professionals with rich and diverse expertise in education research. They work in a range of settings from universities and other academic institutions to research institutes, federal and state agencies, school systems, testing companies, and non-profit organizations. Ice offers special sessions enabling German researchers to present their papers, discuss current topics with colleagues from all over the world, and talk about possible cooperations on an international level.

Ice takes care that the sessions are in line with the AERA  Meeting theme, and the selection of topics is subject to a close cooperation of German and international researchers. Interested researchers are welcome to participate in the process of thematically organising the sessions.
