AERA 2020 - Education in the Digital Age
Original Planning:
The 2020 international session provides a space for North-American, German and international researchers to discuss their research and engage in transatlantic cooperation. Experts will exchange international perspectives on digital strategies and digital transformations in education as well as on current issues in education research. This year our session will be joined by researchers from the US, Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Australia and will integrate insights both from research and from practitioners. AERA participants are welcome to join the event and participate in the plenary talk, our networking coffee and one of the roundtable discussions. During our plenary talk Prof. Felicitas Macgilchrist from the Georg Eckert Institute for International Textbook Research and Dr. Joann Halpern from the Hasso Plattner Institute New York will present discourses on educational technology and digitization in Germany and the US from a transatlantic perspective.
