EIPPEE Conference 2013

5-6 March 2013, Lindner Congress Hotel, Bolongarostraße 100, 65929 Frankfurt/Germany. The second conference of the European Commission funded ‘Evidence Informed Policy and Practice in Education in Europe’ (EIPPEE) will be held on 5-6 March 2013 in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. The conference will be co-hosted with the German Institute for International Educational Research (DIPF). Title "Progress and future visions"

EIPPEE Annual Conference 2013 "Progress and future visions" 5-6 March 2013

The conference will examine the current state of evidence informed policy and practice across Europe. It will look at how far we have come to ensure that education policy and practice is informed by the best available research evidence and where continued efforts still need to be made. In so doing, the conference will set out the next steps that need to be taken in the policy, practice and study of evidence informed policy and practice and the role of the international EIPPEE Network within this.

Optional Pre-conference training workshop 4 March 2013

An optional pre-conference training workshop is available for a limited number of participants at no extra charge. This workshop will introduce the concept of evidence informed policy and practice and demonstrate the role that systematic reviews can play in this process. The workshop will show how systematic reviews can be used to address all types of research questions and analyse all types of primary research; from conceptual to statistical studies.

Registration

The conference allows a limited number of participants. Registrations to the conference will be accepted so as to allow a broad representation of different types of stakeholders from across Europe. After submitting registration form, participants can expect to be notified within one week as to whether their registration has been successful.
